Welcome to A Novel Escape!
This beloved bookshop, nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina, has been a fixture of the Franklin community for over 13 years. In 2019 the store was purchased by Liz, who continues the legacy of the booksellers before her with great care and love for all who enter.
A Novel Escape has the largest selection of used & new books in western North Carolina. In addition to over 14,000 books, you will also find a robust children’s section, puzzles, DVD movies, audiobooks on CD, vintage collectible books, greeting cards, and gifts.
